Nextt & Mason is looking, on behalf of an existing client, for a Senior ERP Consultant. The client is a manufacturing SME within the mechanical industry, with its own unique product portfolio. The company operates globally with sales and aftermarket services, is based in Skåne, and is part of a global German group.
The company has used the Pyramid ERP system for several years but has not fully utilized its capabilities. About 2.5 years ago, the ERP project was restarted, and several improvements have been implemented, such as integrating sales into the system and creating system instructions.
The company has now reached a stage where the next step is required, involving a review of the current business processes in the ERP system to ensure that the correct data is entered into the system and to optimize workflows.
The ERP Consultant reports to the CEO.
Responsibilities
The overall objective is to create a holistic view of the company’s business processes and analyze how standard processes may need to be adapted to fit the company’s business model and functional requirements.
After the analysis, identification of weaknesses, development of business processes/conceptual solutions, and the final implementation, the consultant must support and train key users in how to most effectively follow the relevant workflows within their individual ERP modules.
The ERP consultant should also ensure awareness, competence, and knowledge within the relevant departments by establishing guidelines and proposing training for employees where needed.
Qualifications
• Deep understanding of the technical aspects of ERP software
• Experience and knowledge of ERP processes, including sales, production, purchasing, warehousing, service, and finance
• Proven ability to map business processes to ERP systems and ensure that module functions support the organization’s needs
• Knowledge of standardized business workflows required in a typical ERP process landscape
• Documented problem-solving ability and ability to conceptually troubleshoot technical issues and guide ERP IT specialists
• Experience with ERP systems in mid-sized manufacturing companies
• Several years of practical experience as a key user in ERP systems (preferably Pyramid)
The assignment is planned to start in week 25 and is expected to last 6 months. The company has holiday weeks 29, 30, and 31. The workplace is in Skåne.
