Coop Logistics is now seeking an Operations Manager who wants to join this development journey alongside many skilled colleagues at the Hasselager Distribution Center.

The Operations Manager reports to the Distribution Manager and is responsible for daily operations from goods receipt to picking, including the leadership of 8 team leaders and approximately 500 employees in the area. The center operates 24/7, year-round.

You will be part of the center’s management team and work closely with the Planning Manager to ensure stable and efficient operations and a healthy working environment.

As a leader, you understand that achieving strong results in profitability, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement depends on collaboration, trust, and the ability to build strong relationships — all while maintaining focus on daily operations and performance targets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Daily management of operations, including leaders and employees within goods receipt, order processing, and picking

• Visible and clear leadership

• Execution of production plans from the Planning Department

• Budget compliance and continuous operational optimization

• Leadership and development of team leaders

• Enhancement of employee well-being and engagement

• Implementation of process simplification and optimization across departments, challenging the “we’ve always done it this way” mentality

• Ensuring effective cooperation between leaders, employees, and union representatives

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on leadership experience

• Theoretical management background (e.g., HD, academy manager education, or similar)

• Proven track record in leading leaders and achieving results through others

• Proven experience in working with labor unions

• Knowledge of labor law and collective agreements (3F and HK areas)

• Strong communication skills
