Our client, an international group with several foreign factories and sales subsidiaries, is seeking a Senior Controller reporting directly to the Executive Management. The group is private equity-owned.
Tasks
• Participate in preparation and validation of monthly accounts - consolidation of sales units, inventories, and production entities
• Prepare analyses on COGS
• Prepare fixed cost analyses
• Cost tracking and identification of potential savings
• Develop a new BOM (Bill of Materials) structure for efficient monitoring and updating
• Prepare proposals for process improvements regarding monthly reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and cash flow reporting - including implementation
• Conduct follow-up and analysis on sales subsidiaries regarding sales, costs, and customer profitability optimization
• Participate in month-end closing for the Danish entities
Qualifications
• Ability to present the above analyses in an informative and operational manner
• Experience in handling and consolidating multiple entities
• English at a medium to high professional level
• Solid experience with manufacturing companies, including the use of Standard Cost
• Strong knowledge of AX and HFM, and an Excel superuser - including data extraction and processing from AX and HFM
• It is crucial that the person is self-driven, so that the existing finance staff only need to provide minimal support to the interim professional
