Our client is an innovative development company currently owned by an international group. The company is a global market leader within its niche and is entering a significant growth phase.
They develop and manufacture mechanical and electronic IoT solutions, and are now looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to take responsibility for the company’s entire sourcing function.
Reference: Managing Director
Key Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for the company’s sourcing activities
• Main focus on sourcing of electronic components
• Secure critical components for production start in collaboration with suppliers
• Analyze the current sourcing setup with focus on cost optimization, supplier collaboration, and new product opportunities
• Provide input to R&D in product re-design and development
• Ensure the right quality and quantities from suppliers
• Act as an active contributor in the ongoing company growth project
• Maintain full overview of suppliers (contracts, agreements, quantities, and quality)
• Develop a sourcing strategy to strengthen supplier negotiations
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to meet current and future needs
