Our client is a worldwide manufacturing company with production plants spanning five continents.
The company is now looking for an Interim Site Director who will head up one of the production sites. The site runs a continuous operation in 5 shifts, 24/7.
This position has 6 direct reports as well as 120 indirect reports and reports to the CEO of our client.
Interim Site Directors Key Tasks
- Bring in a new style of management.
- Make sure that the current staff will stay with the company.
- Make the team 100% engaged in their work and belief in the company.
- Lead the production, maintenance, quality, process and WCM department.
- Responsible for establishing and following plant budget.
- Lead and develop the management team in the plant.
Qualifications
- Experience from a process industry with continuous operation.
- University degree with a Master’s level in engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 15 year’s experience in a similar role.
- Successfully served in a Site/Plant leadership role (>500 MSEK, >200 FTEs)
- Several years of operations experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Solid experience in driving both change management, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Strong language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
The assignment will start asap, and last for 3-6 months.
The workplace is at the site north of Stockholm.
