Do you want to take a key role in developing the finance processes of the future? Our client is looking for an Interim Senior Process Leader for a strategic and business-critical assignment where you will combine analysis, change management and operational execution in one of Sweden's largest public organisations.

The Assignment

One of Sweden's largest public organisations is in the middle of an extensive transformation effort. The finance function is being modernised from the ground up — processes are being reviewed, the financial system is being optimised, and new ways of working are being embedded across the entire organisation. You step in at the intersection of business development, process improvement and change management.

Your role is central. You lead and carry out process mapping, facilitate workshops, identify areas for improvement and produce decision-support materials that create direction and momentum. You present recommendations to steering groups and process councils. You produce and quality-assure process maps. You coordinate investigative matters and ensure that sub-processes are connected.

You work closely with project management, solution architects, test management and subject matter experts within the finance function — and you are expected to deliver independently from day one.

Competency Profile

You are a senior interim leader with solid experience in finance processes — accounting, year-end closing, budgeting and financial reporting. You thrive in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and can translate analytical insight into clear, business-adapted decisions.

You have worked in a leading role on the client side in at least three assignments covering pre-study, requirements work, procurement and implementation of financial systems. You model process maps in BPMN or equivalent. You have at least five years of experience in process mapping and at least five years in process and business development in the public sector. You can naturally provide references from previous assignments within the required area of expertise that substantiate the above requirements.

Experience with Raindance, an understanding of master data and financial data governance, as well as experience of system implementations with more than 500 users, are considered advantageous.

You hold a Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

Option to extend: 24 months.
