Our client is one of the largest groups in Greenland, with a turnover of approximately DKK 3 billion, over 800 employees, and three subsidiaries.
The Interim Senior Financial Controller will act as a key sparring partner and right hand to the Head of Finance, with a broad interface across the organization and its subsidiaries.
The finance department consists of around 25 employees, and the role requires a proactive and experienced professional who enjoys taking ownership of challenges and contributing to strengthening the overall quality of the finance function.
The client provides accommodation and paid travel to and from Greenland.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily financial operations and controlling across the group
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Ensure quality control of accounting processes and accuracy of bookkeeping
• Participate in the ERP system upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Contribute to the development and optimization of accounting processes
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support business development and decision-making
