Interim Senior Financial Controller for one of Denmark’s and the Nordics’ largest retail groups

Responsibilities and tasks

• Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting in selected areas, including preparation of documentation for the annual audit.

• Review supplier contracts to ensure clear understanding of agreement elements and settlement terms.

• Control and validate contracts in SAP related to supplier bonuses and activity support.

• Perform financial controlling of supplier bonus postings and settlements.

• Ensure correct accruals and recognition of supplier bonuses in interim and annual financial statements.

• Maintain rules for clearing open items related to condition contracts.

• Provide technical accounting assessments on condition contract issues in accordance with Danish GAAP (Årsregnskabsloven).

• Offer accounting advisory support to colleagues and management regarding condition contracts.

• Prepare documentation of performed controls and materials for the annual audit.

• Manage communication with internal and external auditors within the assigned areas.

• Collaborate closely with the Category Management team regarding supplier bonus structures and settlements.
