We are looking for an Interim Senior Financial Controller for the Danish head office. The group is foreign-owned, and the Danish part consists of a parent company and several subsidiaries – both company-owned and franchise operations.
The international group operates in around ten countries and has a global annual turnover exceeding DKK 3 billion.
Due to various circumstances, several financial areas are not fully up to date. The assignment is therefore highly operational but also requires an analytical mindset and solid project management experience.
You will report partly to the Danish Finance Manager and maintain daily contact with the group’s international headquarters, so professional-level English skills are essential.
The position requires extensive hands-on experience with complex corporate structures, including VAT and creditor management.
Leadership Responsibilities
You will have daily management responsibility for two employees in accounts receivable. In addition, several other functions are partly or fully handled by the group’s international shared services center, with which you will have daily communication.
Main Responsibilities
• VAT, including reconciliations
• Payroll
• General balance sheet reconciliation
• Preparation for the annual audit and year-end closing
• Creditor management
• Reporting to the Danish Tax Authorities (SKAT)
