Our client is an innovative Danish SaaS company delivering digital solutions primarily to the service industry. The company is performing strongly both in revenue and profitability and has recently been acquired by a large Nordic group, providing a strong foundation and significant new growth opportunities.

Founded in the 2010s, the company has developed a robust software solution and gained a large market share within its target segment.

As part of a new strategic focus, the solution is now being rolled out to the public sector, where municipalities, regions, and public institutions can achieve substantial efficiency gains and cost savings through implementation.

The company operates with a flat organizational structure and a strong entrepreneurial culture. Beyond managing sales to public sector clients, the new Interim Sales Manager will be part of the leadership team and report directly to the CEO/founder.

Success Criteria

• Together with management, define the Go-To-Market strategy for the public sector, including marketing approach and pricing structure.

• Build a solid sales pipeline of municipalities, regions, and public institutions in 2022.

• Close the first major contracts and initiate implementation during H1 2022.

• Demonstrate strong strategic responsibility combined with hands-on execution.

• Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that requires self-driven and proactive sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive significant sales growth of the company’s product to the public sector.

• Identify and engage key decision-makers in municipalities and regions.

• Independently manage the full sales process - from prospecting to contract signing.

• Understand and navigate public procurement, SKI agreements, and tender processes.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams across the organization.

• Act as a trusted sparring partner to the CEO.

Location:

The company’s headquarters are located in Eastern Jutland, with an expected on-site presence of approx. one day per week.

Residence can be anywhere in Denmark.
