Interim Sales Controller for Global Medical Technology Company

The company is an international group operating in 100 countries with 10,000 employees worldwide. Within the B2B division, where this role is placed, the company operates production facilities in Denmark, Slovakia, and Mexico and employs around 2,000 people.

The Danish business is urgently seeking an Interim Sales Controller, who, together with the finance team, will ensure strong business controlling within the B2B division.

This is a hands-on position requiring experience in an international setup with a primary focus on Sales Controlling.

Reporting line: VP Head of Finance & Accounting

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly sales reports

• Provide commentary for monthly reports

• Prepare materials for monthly operations review meetings

• Follow up on accounts receivable, DSO, and reporting

• Conduct budget variance analysis and follow up

• Review balance sheet items requiring action or clarification

• Manage provisions for rebates

• Analyze sales and margin developments

• Support sales performance management, including profitability and product/customer mix analysis

• Reconcile SAP vs. Hyperion and KOM

• Post journal entries during month-end closing and review invoices for variances

• Monitor BI dashboards and handle ad hoc analysis tasks

Candidate Profile

You are an experienced controller with a strong analytical mindset and business acumen. Ideally, you have:

• Solid experience with SAP and Hyperion

• Strong analytical and commercial skills

• Excellent English communication abilities

• The ability to operate effectively in an international business environment
