We are looking for a
top-tier Project Manager to join a rapidly growing Danish construction group with over 500 employees and headquarters located on Zealand. This is a
“Try & Hire” opportunity — a 6-month interim assignment with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role for the right candidate.
About the Client:
Our client is a leading Danish contractor group experiencing strong growth and delivering high-quality infrastructure and construction projects across Denmark.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a standard the company can be proud of. You will manage your own projects end-to-end — both large and small — and work closely with a dedicated and experienced team of approximately 50 colleagues committed to delivering outstanding results for clients.
Key Tasks:
• Ensure technical execution, progress, financial control, health, safety, and environment compliance on framework agreements (running for at least two more years, with possible extension)
• Manage and coordinate water, cable, and utility projects in collaboration with the internal project team
• Oversee and align internal and external interfaces and deliverables
• Ensure project quality and take key decisions regarding budgeting, planning, and follow-up
• Maintain project targets and a solid understanding of contract and cost management using ERP systems
• Coordinate communication and planning with internal and external stakeholders, including participation in construction and safety meetings
Candidate Profile:
You have solid experience as a Project Manager — ideally from a contractor, client, or engineering consultancy environment — and a strong understanding of project economics and construction processes. The right candidate combines technical insight with strong leadership, structure, and the ability to drive progress across complex stakeholder landscapes.
