Interim Project Manager for a Strategic Assignment within Finance Development

About the Assignment

On behalf of our client, Nextt & Mason is seeking an experienced Interim Project Manager for the Finance Development unit.

This is an assignment for you who thrive in complex environments, appreciate working closely with the business, and have the ability to confidently drive initiatives at the intersection of finance, IT, and SAP.

In the role, you will initially be responsible for leading and coordinating the following prioritised initiatives:

• Setting up a smaller existing company in SAP, currently operating outside SAP in a separate ERP system

• Creating automated pre-coding of supplier invoices

• Establishing governance and oversight regarding the archiving of accounting information

• Creating clarity around roles and permissions within SAP

You will work closely with stream leads and specialists across both IT and finance, in an environment where collaboration, clarity, and quality are paramount.

The assignment involves keeping multiple parallel initiatives aligned, creating structure and momentum, and ensuring a safe and professional delivery.

The role is based within Finance Development and involves close collaboration with the Head of Finance Development as well as relevant steering committees.

We would ideally like you to be able to start as soon as possible.

We believe you bring:

• At least three years of experience driving projects at the intersection of finance and IT

• An academic degree or equivalent relevant background

• Strong ability to communicate in English as well as at least one Nordic language

• A solid understanding of SAP or similar ERP environments

• A structured, self-driven, and delivery-oriented working style

• Experience in change management is considered an advantage
