The company is an innovative Danish organization and part of an international group.
The company is a market leader within its industry, and its products are sold globally. They develop and manufacture mechanical and electronic solutions as well as accompanying software. The Danish development unit employs around 70 people, while the international group counts approximately 7,000 employees.
Within the development department, there are several ongoing projects for which the company needs an experienced Project Manager. These include both product development and technology development projects in the category of IoT (Internet of Things).
The Project Manager reports to the Director of Development.
It is essential that the Project Manager has experience with electronic and mechanical products and development processes from a development-driven organization.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Overall management and leadership of projects.
• Ensure that each project has a clear description including expected outcomes, timeline, financial framework, and the right project organization.
• Ensure effective project communication and information flow so that all participants are properly informed.
• Ensure regular status reporting on projects - including decision proposals (stop/go) and deviation reporting.
• Ensure optimal cooperation and meeting structure between the project group, steering committee, and external partners.
• Execute projects in a controlled and structured manner according to the company’s Product Development Model.
• Prepare templates for project processes.
• Ensure that products being developed or modified have the necessary basis for production and sales, including technical documentation and compliance claims.
• Ensure that when a product is handed over to production, complete Technical Product Documentation is prepared or existing documentation is updated.
• Ensure that developed or modified products comply with applicable legislation and market-specific requirements.
• Ensure that design review and design release meetings are held within the agreed framework.
