Interim Product Manager to international B2B SaaS-scale-up
Our client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company headquartered in Greater Copenhagen, serving several thousand customers across the Nordics and Europe. The company operates through cross-functional product teams in which the Product Manager, Design Lead, and Engineering Lead act as equal partners — teams are accountable for solving customer problems and delivering outcomes, not for shipping a feature list.
The new Interim Product Manager will ensure that product development is grounded in the market's real problems and that it stays commercially anchored. The role reports to the Director of Product.
Responsibilities:
Scope and clarify customer problems and needs as the foundation for product development
Set clear direction and goals for the product team based on customer value rather than features
Proactively engage customers and the market to gather insight and validate assumptions
Monitor product usage and outcomes to guide prioritization and decision-making
Track developments in regulation, competitors, and emerging technology for threats and opportunities
Experiment and test hypotheses early to reduce risk in solution design
Collaborate closely with the Design Lead and Engineering Lead as equal partners on the product team
Safeguard the value and viability of what the team builds, and be accountable for outcomes
Contribute to commercial direction in close dialogue with the Director of Product and other commercial functions
Profile:
Experienced Product Manager with strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn customer insight into clear direction
Natural team player who collaborates closely with design and engineering and leads by example
Experience with empowered product team models, where teams own outcomes rather than feature lists
Comfortable proactively engaging customers and the market to uncover needs
