Our client is a Nordic company with subsidiaries in Sweden. The Swedish HQ is located in Stockholm and production in Småland as well as in subsidiaries in Poland.
Background
The client’s product portfolio is broad and growing. Now the products will be modularized and adapted for more efficient manufacturing and storage/handling.
In connection with the above, production will be developed and adapted to increasing volumes and documentation in different stages will be prepared.
The assignment
The assignment starts with an overall mapping and structured description of the current parameters, with reporting to the client.
After the current situation has been mapped, the next phase of the assignment begins. It focuses on developing a proposal for a product strategy with a plan for how the product portfolio can be modularized, including a concrete action plan for the coming 1.5 years based on your/our recommendations. The work also includes defining a new function within the organization, to which the company intends to recruit a Product Manager who will drive and realize the action plan.
Qualifications for the assignment
The assignment requires that you have successfully carried out similar assignments previously.
It also requires documented experience of developing design solutions based on modular architecture and adapting products for production where aluminium profiles constitute the core component.
You likely have extensive experience from roles such as COO, Production Manager/Site Manager, Head of Development, Product Owner or similar senior leadership positions.
