Our client is a Danish energy company playing a crucial role in the national energy infrastructure and in its regional supply area. The company is a key player in Denmark’s green transition, delivering sustainable energy solutions to both private consumers and businesses.
In recent years, the company has experienced rapid growth and anticipates continued expansion. Therefore, there is now a need for an intensive consolidation phase focusing on process optimization, supply chain management, and contract governance. The goal of this interim assignment is to create lasting improvements and operational clarity across these areas.
The position holds high strategic importance and is closely followed by the executive management team, as the results will be key to enabling the company’s continued growth.
The Interim Process & Supply Chain Manager (IPSCM) reports to the Head of Production.
Profile
The ideal candidate has a strong background in process management, procurement, contract management, quality assurance, and certifications, preferably from the energy sector or a similar complex, regulated industry.
Analytical and structured thinking, a broad business understanding, and strong relationship-building skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish a “year wheel” for key operational processes, procurement, and contract management.
• Map regulatory contacts and data flows, ensuring compliance with public authority requirements.
• Develop an overview of all production-related contracts, including:
• Procurement of consumables and fuels
• Support materials and services for production
• Grid connections, electricity supply, and purchasing
• Identify contract expiration and renegotiation dates.
• Map environmental permits and approvals, including monitoring and renewal schedules.
• Structure and document CO₂ quota trading processes and annual certification procedures.
• Map and systematize biomass certification and internal handling.
• Create structure for waste data management, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
The assignment requires significant on-site presence in East Jutland to ensure close collaboration across departments and a deep understanding of daily operations.
