Our client is a leading global partner to the wind power industry, with decades of experience in developing and delivering specialized tools and solutions. The products are assembled in Denmark and shipped worldwide in close collaboration with major wind turbine manufacturers.
The Interim Operations Director will report to the SVP and lead a team of 12 employees. The role combines day-to-day operational leadership with responsibility for a strategic development project, offering a broad interface across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a strategic project involving analysis, business case development, and recommendations for the future optimal production setup (location, capacity, logistics).
• Ensure efficient daily operations, including planning, procurement, and maintaining high on-time delivery (OTD).
• Optimize inventory and capacity utilization in line with growth plans for 2026.
• Strengthen collaboration across development, sourcing, projects, and engineering.
• Develop and implement LEAN processes to ensure scalable and efficient operations.
• Lead, motivate, and develop teams in Denmark and India.
Candidate Profile
• Strong technical background combined with solid business acumen.
• Proven experience in operations management, supply chain, and warehouse optimization.
• Ability to combine strategic insight with hands-on execution.
• Clear and motivational leadership style with excellent communication skills.
