Our client is seeking an

Interim Managing Director

for the Danish subsidiary of a larger international group. The company serves as a

development and sales office

for niche cooling products targeted at the retail sector.

The company employs around

20 people

, with the Interim Managing Director primarily focusing on the

13 employees

based at the Danish office. The team consists of highly specialized professionals who work with a high degree of autonomy and self-management. The key objective will therefore be to

maintain focus, motivation, and energy

among employees while ensuring strong leadership and support in the day-to-day commercial operations.

Financially, the company is performing well, delivering

positive results

and experiencing

strong market demand

for its products. As the current Managing Director will be leaving shortly, the company is looking for a candidate who can

start quickly

and lead the organization until a permanent successor is in place.

The position reports to the

Chairman of the Board

, who is part of the

global management team based in Germany

.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to the organization and maintain employee motivation and engagement.

• Lead and support highly skilled specialists effectively.

• Ensure stable operations, efficient processes, and business continuity until the permanent director is appointed.

• Maintain strong commercial focus on customers and markets during the interim period.

• Ensure a smooth handover to the incoming management.

• Take overall responsibility for financial performance and understand the legal aspects of customer deliveries and contracts.

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership experience in smaller organizations and with specialist teams.

• Strong commercial mindset with focus on customer and market engagement.

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.

• Solid understanding of project delivery, financials, and legal frameworks.

• Fluent in

Danish and English
