Interim Manager within Production Support

Our client is a global industrial company based in Skåne. We are looking for an Interim Manager within Production Support.

Scope of responsibility

Your assignment will be to lead a team responsible for building machines used in the production of the company’s products, which are of a high technical complexity.

The team’s responsibilities also include acting as 1st line support towards the factories, traveling on service assignments, and ensuring that the machines are properly calibrated and maintain a consistently high level of quality.

The role involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders within the company, both internally within the Production Engineering function and across other functions such as Capacity Planning.

The team consists of 10 people.

Background and qualifications

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in complex organizations

• Solid experience in team development and building high-performing teams

• Strong experience in defining assignments, setting goals, and working with KPIs and similar performance measures

• Some level of technical interest is required

• Previous experience in product development or production is an advantage, but the primary focus of the role is leadership and team development

• No specialist expertise in production engineering is required

The interim assignment is expected to last 9 to 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
