We are seeking a Head of Communications for a project within the public sector.

The Head of Communications has the overall responsibility for developing, leading, implementing, and evaluating a unified communication strategy throughout all phases of the project - from planning and design to execution and handover.

The position constitutes a central role in the project management and includes responsibility for both internal and external communication in a complex stakeholder landscape, with the purpose of creating transparency and establishing trust with citizens, decision-makers, authorities, suppliers, media, and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Academic degree in communication, journalism, political science, or equivalent.

• At least 15 years of relevant professional experience, including several years in leadership positions.

• At least 7 years of documented experience with communications related to infrastructure or public development projects.

• Excellent ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

You have strong communication skills and are able to adapt your communication to different target groups.

Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and have strong collaboration skills, which contribute to favorable conditions for the team and the organization as a whole. Your experience and ability to handle complex issues, work at a high pace, and operate in changing environments make you a stable and driving resource to develop and lead the communication work forward.
