Interim IT Project Manager – International Company

Our client is an international group delivering products and various services directly to both consumers and businesses.

The company has recently established a new independent business unit, which is being separated from the existing organization. The new unit will require a complete replication of the current ERP setup into a standalone environment. Both the existing and new setups are based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and the migration will be carried out by the client’s external system provider.

To ensure a smooth transition, we are seeking an experienced Interim IT Project Manager to lead the migration project and oversee the setup of the new Dynamics 365 environment. The role includes thorough testing of critical processes and financial integrations delivered by the external partner.

The main focus will be on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO (Finance & Operations) modules.

The Interim IT Project Manager will report directly to the Head of IT and CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure successful replication of the existing ERP setup into the new independent business unit and secure go-live readiness.

• Test configurations, upgrades, and extensions to ensure alignment with organizational workflows, primarily within FO.

• Act as the link between the internal project organization and the external system provider.

• Oversee correct setup and validation of financial modules in Dynamics 365 FO.

• Guide the organization through proper system testing and user validation before go-live.

• Document external vendor work and ensure traceability.

• Prepare progress reports and present updates to the steering committee.

• Conduct weekly status meetings with both Danish and international project teams.
