Interim IT Operations Manager for a major transport company

The company is an international organization with more than 1,000 employees in Denmark.

The company urgently needs an Interim IT Operations Manager to take technical responsibility for IT operations and ensure stable, reliable, and predictable IT services across the Danish organization.

This is a hands-on role, where you must be willing to handle support cases as well. You will have one IT support employee reporting directly to you. Coordination with external service providers and budget follow-up are also key parts of the position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for helpdesk operations

• Daily IT operations management

• Incident handling and troubleshooting

• Planning and coordination of system changes with external vendors

• Management of vendor contracts and agreements

• Technical responsibility for cybersecurity

• Maintenance of IT operations documentation

• Communication with the organization regarding IT operations

• Monitoring user satisfaction and preparing user guidelines

Secondary Responsibilities

• Planning and management of smaller technical projects

Profile

You are an experienced IT Operations Manager with prior responsibility for helpdesk and IT operations management at a high level, ideally involving external vendors.

You are detail-oriented yet capable of maintaining a strategic overview.

You hold a relevant IT education and ideally have experience with several of the following systems and areas:

• Microsoft Active Directory

• Microsoft Azure

• Microsoft 365

• Microsoft Intune and Autopilot

• Cisco Meraki

• Knowledge of Cybersecurity, ITIL, and ISO 27001 is a strong advantage.
