Interim Head of Workplace Delivery

Our client is a large Danish company in the financial sector, based in Greater Copenhagen. The Workplace team is part of a larger IT organization and is currently without a leader. There is an urgent need for an interim leader who can secure operations from day one, create an overview of tasks and responsibilities, and set the direction for the function's future.

The team has grown from 3 to 8 employees over the past year, most of whom are newly hired. The function covers Workplace Delivery and Digital Workspace – laptops, mobile phones, meeting rooms, Microsoft 365/Copilot, and telephony – while the Service Desk sits within Operations. Tasks and prioritization are currently handled on an ad hoc basis without fixed dashboards or metrics, and ServiceNow only covers standard requests.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Ensure day-to-day leadership and operational stability from day one, and create an overview of the team's tasks and responsibilities.

• Establish priorities and workflows for task management, and bring better structure to the daily servicing of the organization.

• Professionalize and develop collaboration between the Workplace team, staff functions, and the wider organization.

• Map capacity and ambition level, and clarify which tasks should be moved or discontinued.

• Define guiding principles and a roadmap for the function's future direction, including clarifying the permanent organizational setup.

We are looking for an experienced interim leader with a strong background in Workplace Delivery and Digital Workspace, ideally with knowledge of ServiceNow. It is essential that you can balance day-to-day leadership responsibilities while also being able to describe and build the "Best in Class" Workplace Delivery organization of the future.
