With a direct reporting line to the CFO of an international division, the Interim Head of Manufacturing Finance holds overall responsibility for leading financial governance across 17 global production sites. The role includes leadership responsibility for three direct reports and a total of 24 finance professionals across locations.
Responsibilities
• Act as a strategic sparring partner to manufacturing leadership, driving performance and value creation through financial insight.
• Lead performance management and ensure financial transparency to support stronger decision-making and increased value creation.
• Translate complex financial data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Ensure strong alignment between Finance and Operations, including on-site presence and a deep understanding of operational levers.
• Develop and anchor a culture of performance management and continuous improvement across the finance function.
• Lead and support high-complexity transformation initiatives in close collaboration with global consultants and project teams.
• Strengthen Finance’s role as an active contributor in decision-making processes through data-driven analysis.
• Safeguard compliance and integrity in reporting while promoting agility and innovation.
• Own and execute the finance strategy in close alignment with business objectives and risk profile.
• Lead complex decision-making processes related to capacity utilization, plant economics, and footprint analyses.
Profile
We are seeking a strong interim leader with solid business acumen, international manufacturing finance experience, and a proven track record of leading through transformation. You bring a broad financial background with deep expertise in manufacturing finance, business case development, cost simulations, and controlling. You have previously held responsibility for larger international finance functions. You thrive under high expectations and operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments with a clear improvement agenda. You translate KPIs into tangible business improvements and demonstrate a mindset characterized by performance, partnership, and leadership.
