Our client is a robust Danish financial services company with a long-standing and loyal customer base.
To support the organization’s continued digital transformation, the company is seeking an experienced Interim Head of IT Development to lead a large department of skilled developers based at the company’s headquarters in Copenhagen.
The development teams are organized according to agile principles and work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and specialized business professionals. Therefore, the daily task management is not the responsibility of the Interim IT Development Manager. Instead, the role focuses on ensuring high professional standards, maintaining and developing IT competencies, and driving technical excellence across teams.
The Interim Head of IT Development will report directly to Executive Management and will play a key role in leading the department through a major organizational change process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the IT development department through ongoing organizational changes
• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for the development teams
• Ensure retention and professional growth of employees
• Maintain and strengthen core development competencies
• Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders
• Continue the journey toward best-in-class software development practices
