Interim head of business and service development

We are looking for an interim head of business and service development. Our client is a non-profit, member-driven organisation in Stockholm whose customers and members come from both the private and public sectors. The organisation is in the middle of a transformation. Its knowledge-based products are being developed into digital services, and the business model needs to change at the same pace. After a reorganisation, a new business and service development unit has been created. We are now looking for an interim manager who can take charge right away.

The assignment

You will lead and build the unit, which currently has 5 employees and will grow by 3 more during the assignment. The role includes

• owning the service portfolio and deciding which services to develop first

• developing pricing strategies and taking responsibility for the profitability of the service

• producing market and customer needs analyses

• acting as product owner and setting requirements for the IT development team

• recruiting three new team members and putting structure and ways of working in place for the unit

• working with the other units and with similar organisations internationally

You will report to the Marketing Director and be part of the department's management team.

We are looking for someone who

• Has led business or service development in a knowledge- or information-intensive B2B organisation. Experience of moving a revenue model from one-off

  sales to digital services or subscriptions is a plus

• Has worked with pricing models and profit responsibility, has been the business owner of IT development in an agile environment, and has led teams of experts and specialists

• Combines a business focus with values-based leadership and works fluently in both Swedish and English

Details

• Immediate start, at least 6 months, full-time at the client's office in Stockholm.
