Interim Head of Accounting – Public Sector

In connection with a planned recruitment, the client requires a Head of Accounting who will have operational, financial result, and personnel responsibility for the accounting group. The accounting group belongs to the finance unit and reports to the CFO.

About the role

The Head of Accounting has the overall responsibility for accounting and planning of interim reports in collaboration with the CFO and the departments. The role also includes responsibility for liquidity planning, ensuring reporting of financial statistics, and internal control within the accounting area.

Requirements

• Academic degree in accounting and finance or equivalent.

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including several years in leadership positions.

• At least 5 years of documented experience as Head of Accounting with personnel responsibility.

• Experience with Raindance is considered a merit.
