Interim Group CFO for an International Software Company

We are seeking an Interim Group CFO for our client, a premier global entity within their industry. This privately-held organization boasts a widespread operation, extending its services through approximately 20 offices across the globe.

Renowned for its AAA rating, the company is dedicated to long-term development and innovation, ensuring its leadership in the market.

Role Overview:

The Interim Group CFO will report directly to the Group CEO and will be an integral part of the group’s executive management. With a span of control covering 45 personnel and three direct reports leading the Shared Service, Data Strategy, and FP&A teams, this role is pivotal in steering the company’s financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership over the entire finance team comprising 45 professionals.
• Completion of the year-end financial close (31/4).
• Preparation and facilitation of Board and Audit meetings, as well as the General Assembly.
• Foster close collaboration with the Group CEO.
• Oversee monthly financial closing processes, ensuring effective communication with the executive team and Board.
• Manage financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Act as a proactive member of the executive team, liaising with members located globally.

Leadership Profile Requirement:

The ideal candidate will embody a robust leadership profile, with extensive experience in guiding multinational corporations through complex financial landscapes. Experience in working closely with top management and external revision partners is essential, demonstrating a capacity to balance strategic leadership with operational excellence.
