Interim Finance Manager for Large Financial Services Company

The company is a European group operating in 25 countries. With 10,000 employees and 80,000 customers, it is the market leader within its service sector.

In Denmark, the company employs around 200 people and has a turnover of DKK 170 million.

To support the Danish operations, the company is urgently seeking an Interim Finance Manager to ensure high-quality daily financial operations, controlling and reporting at month-end, as well as support with the upcoming annual financial statements.

This is a hands-on role, where the ideal candidate is expected to handle account reconciliations and journal postings independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Review of account reconciliations

• Ensure accurate accruals and postings in the financial statements

• Handle reporting and controlling tasks

• Prepare forecasts and conduct reviews with management

• Manage annual accounts and coordinate with auditors

• Prepare tax calculations

• Handle impairment tests and goodwill amortization

• Prepare transfer pricing documentation

• Participate in group-level projects and initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced Finance or Accounting Manager

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality month-end closings

• Strong technical understanding of accounting and controlling

• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable in execution

• Fluent in Danish and English
