Interim Finance Manager. For a position with our client in Malmö. The client has annual revenue of approximately 2 billion SEK. The position reports to the CFO.

As Interim Finance Manager at our client, you will have overall responsibility for leading the finance department and ensuring that day-to-day accounting and financial statements are prepered accurately and on time. You are the person in the department who independently prepares an compiles monthly-, quarterly- and annual financial statements. The assignment also inlcudes preparing an compiling annual report for 2026, including liaison with the external auditor.

The Finance Department is responsible for day-to-day accounting and financial statements for several subsidiaries. You will have 10 direct reporting employees in various finance roles. In addition to these, there is a Controller function at the client´s site. However, this function does not fall under the Finance Manager´s area of responsibility.

The assignment requires clear and day-to-day leadership as well as continuous follow-up to ensure a sound working environment, accurate accounting and financial statements prepared on time. As a stable and present leader, you play a central role in maintaining effective internal communication between diffrent functions at the Client. The assignment also includes making recommendations for the future development of the department, ways of working and processes.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in similar tasks and responsibilities.

• Well versed in accounting regulations, the Swedish Annual Accounts Act, K3, the Swedish Bookkeeping Act and related frameworks.

• Ability to independently prepare monthly-, quarterly- and annual financial statements i mid-sized to large companies.

• Experienced in independently owning the full annaul reporting an audit process, including dialogue with external auditor.

• Documented experience of leading and coordinating the work of at least 5-10 employees.

You are comfortable in an operational day--to-day enviroment. You have a strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a setting with multiple concurrent workstreams. You are a confident and constructive leader who can motivate team members within existing conditions - run as is, and has the ability to identify bottlenecks and streamline financial flows.
