Our client, a global market leader in the FMCG industry with recognizable brands, is seeking a skilled Interim Finance Director to lead the Danish function. Our client is in the middle of an exciting period of strategic acquisitions, transformations, and system integrations.
The Danish operation is small and agile, and there will be multiple international stakeholders at group level. Company language is English.
The Interim Finance Director is leading a Commercial controller in DK and have access international to a Financial Controller, TAX expert and full Shared Service Center.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Take daily management of the local finance organization, reporting directly to the International Finance Director.
- Monthly and quarterly reporting
- Forecasting
- Budget follow-up
- Tax
- Optimization projects
- Secure monthly data quality in current SAP
- Ensure stability and continuity in the finance department during the implementation of new SAP.
- Streamline and automate financial processes.
- Serve as a proactive sparring partner for the Danish operation and finance management.
This assignment requires a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
The ideal candidate for the role of Interim Finance Director has substantial experience managing finance departments, preferably in an international FMCG context. The candidate possesses strong leadership qualities and is accustomed to handling many stakeholders both nationally and internationally. Experience with SAP is preferable
