Interim Factory Manager for a Company in East Jutland

We are seeking an Interim Factory Manager for our client. The company is an EMS manufacturing business experiencing significant growth, with production sites located in several countries worldwide.

The leadership assignment as Interim Factory Manager includes responsibility for approximately 60 employees, including 2 Supervisors, production engineers and support staff, as well as around 50 operators. The organization is under noticeable pressure due to a full order book and a substantial backlog.

The assignment is therefore rooted in a motivating leadership style, the achievement of defined targets and KPIs, and a strong LEAN-focused approach to production.

You will report directly to the company’s CEO.

Primary Tasks / Success Criteria

• Ensure smooth and efficient production operations and leadership of the production organization

• Set ambitious targets and realize them through strong execution and performance within safety, quality, delivery, and productivity

• Increase overall production efficiency

• Ensure high customer satisfaction in close collaboration with the rest of the management team

• Hands-on leadership: daily visibility, rapid follow-up, and effective handling of production challenges

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

• Experienced Production Manager / Factory Manager who thrives in a high-activity environment with significant production pressure due to a large backlog

• A clear and strong people manager who leads from the front, is resilient and emotionally intelligent - quickly builds trust and drives execution

• Strong production expertise with extensive LEAN experience; experience from EMS manufacturing is a clear advantage

• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to align expectations across the organization
