Interim Energy Director
Our client is one of the largest corporate groups in Greenland, with revenue of approximately DKK 2.5 billion, around 800 employees, and 3 subsidiaries.
The Interim Director for the Energy Division will report to the CEO and have an Operations Manager with regional managers reporting to them. The division has approximately 90 employees and accounts for approximately 50% of the group's revenue.
This assignment involves leading and advising managers, middle managers, and the rest of the organization, while uncovering and optimizing the division's commercial potential. A proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities is essential.
The client provides housing for the interim manager, and travel to and from the assignment is covered by the client.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Day-to-day management of the division and advising managers and middle managers.
Responsibility for energy supply in 18 towns and related services.
Optimization of fuel storage and stock levels.
Review and negotiation of supplier agreements.
Analyze and optimize the procurement and logistics setup.
Strengthen the commercial approach to developing the division.
Elevate culture, governance, digitalization, and safety.
Prepare a concrete catalogue of initiatives with optimization opportunities for the incoming director.
Ad-hoc development tasks as agreed with the CEO.
