Our client is a Danish-owned financial company serving a stable and loyal customer base. For the company’s headquarters in Greater Copenhagen, an
Interim Deputy Manager for IT Operations is sought to support the Head of IT Operations and lead the
Service Desk department.
The Service Desk currently consists of six employees and operates under significant workload, as the organization is in the midst of a major, long-term transformation.
The Interim Deputy Manager is expected to bring strong leadership skills, proven experience within IT operations, and the ability to navigate effectively in a matrix organization. A strong
sense of urgency and situational awareness are essential in the daily work.
The position reports directly to the
Head of IT Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Service Desk team.
- Ensure stronger prioritization and create structure and focus in a busy environment.
- Support the Head of IT Operations and, during certain periods, lead the entire IT Operations function.
- Handle
Incident and Problem Management processes.
- Lead
task forces during critical IT Operations incidents.
