The company is a 100% Danish-owned service company with more than 300 employees. It serves a loyal and long-term customer base and is known for delivering high-quality service solutions.
At the company’s headquarters in Copenhagen, an experienced Interim Department Manager is sought to lead a department of 18 highly skilled specialists. The department plays a key role in maintaining and developing products targeted toward customers.
The employees work in agile development teams together with other colleagues (including IT developers and product owners) and operate according to the principle of “freedom with responsibility.” The Interim Department Manager will have ongoing contact with customers and work closely internally with the Head of IT Development and their department.
We are looking for an empathetic people manager who can provide direction, ensure unity in the department, and continuously strengthen customer understanding and customer involvement in the daily product development work. You will set goals together with the management team, which you will be part of, along with two other department heads in the business area.
Responsibilities:
• Daily management of the department
• Business responsibility for the products and services developed for customers
• Ensure delivery according to agreements with customers and stakeholders
• Strengthen customer understanding across development teams and increase customer involvement in product development
• Set overall goals and direction for the department
• Translate goals and direction into consistent methods and principles for the team’s agile work with customers
• Strengthen team cohesion and collaboration within the department
• Participate in meetings with customers and stakeholders
• Participate in management meetings
• Represent business goals in internal and external steering groups
