An international, private-equity-owned company in strong growth is seeking an experienced Interim Country Manager to take leadership responsibility in the Netherlands.
It is a prerequisite that the right candidate is fluent in Dutch and has documented experience working in the Netherlands.
With a direct reporting line to the Group CEO in Denmark, you will hold full P&L responsibility and act as the driving force behind the execution of the group’s strategy in the Netherlands. The focus is on creating stability, strengthening the leadership team, and realizing business potential across the organization. The company owns and operates more than 25 locations in the Netherlands, serving private customers.
The Interim Country Manager has overall responsibility for more than 100 employees (salaried and hourly-paid) and leads managers and specialists.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure stable operations and deliver on financial growth targets
- Develop and motivate the local management team
- Work closely with group functions in Denmark (Finance, HR, Marketing)
- Engage in close dialogue with national and local authorities and customers, and strengthen these relationships
- Drive growth initiatives and realize market potential across B2C, B2B, and B2G segments
Profile:
- You are an experienced leader with strong commercial understanding, documented P&L experience, and the ability to create results in an international setup. You thrive in a hands-on role with a high pace, where decisions must quickly be translated into action.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Documented experience from the Dutch market
- Experience from international and/or private-equity-owned companies
- Willingness to work primarily in the Netherlands during the assignment period
