An international B2B SaaS company is seeking an experienced
Interim Chief Product Officer
to support the organisation during a critical transition period.
The company operates globally with an advanced software platform and has a large international engineering organisation. Following recent leadership changes, the company is looking for a seasoned interim executive who can ensure stability, direction and momentum across the Product and Engineering organisation.
The Interim CPO will join the executive leadership team and play a key role in clarifying product strategy, roadmap priorities and organisational structure, while providing strong leadership to the teams during a period of change.
Responsibilities
Overall leadership of the Product and Engineering organisation
Establish a clear overview of the current Product and Engineering organisation
Review and prioritise the existing product roadmap and development initiatives
Identify organisational and operational risks within Product and Engineering and define mitigation plans together with the executive team
Strengthen collaboration between Product, Engineering and Commercial teams
Ensure strong alignment between product development and the company’s strategic and commercial objectives
Provide strategic sparring with the CEO and executive leadership team
Support and stabilise the product organisation during a period of change
Ensure momentum and quality in product development and delivery
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience as CPO, CPTO or VP Product in an international software or SaaS company
Have led both Product and Engineering organisations
Be able to navigate complex environments and create clarity and direction during transitions
Possess strong commercial understanding and the ability to link product strategy to business outcomes
Be a resilient and trusted leader with international experience
