An international B2B SaaS company is seeking an experienced Interim Chief Product Officer to support the organisation during a critical transition period.
The company operates globally with an advanced software platform and has a large international engineering organisation. Following recent leadership changes, the company is looking for a seasoned interim executive who can ensure stability, direction and momentum across the Product and Engineering organisation.
The Interim CPO will join the executive leadership team and play a key role in clarifying product strategy, roadmap priorities and organisational structure, while providing strong leadership to the teams during a period of change.
Responsibilities
- Overall leadership of the Product and Engineering organisation
- Establish a clear overview of the current Product and Engineering organisation
- Review and prioritise the existing product roadmap and development initiatives
- Identify organisational and operational risks within Product and Engineering and define mitigation plans together with the executive team
- Strengthen collaboration between Product, Engineering and Commercial teams
- Ensure strong alignment between product development and the company’s strategic and commercial objectives
- Provide strategic sparring with the CEO and executive leadership team
- Support and stabilise the product organisation during a period of change
- Ensure momentum and quality in product development and delivery
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience as CPO, CPTO or VP Product in an international software or SaaS company
- Have led both Product and Engineering organisations
- Be able to navigate complex environments and create clarity and direction during transitions
- Possess strong commercial understanding and the ability to link product strategy to business outcomes
- Be a resilient and trusted leader with international experience
