For a Danish tech company with global success, we are seeking an Interim CEO who can ensure day-to-day leadership, operations, and momentum in a growing organization. The role requires a strong hands-on profile with the ability to maintain overview and lead both people and projects. Commercial responsibility lies with the ownership group; therefore, the role focuses on execution, structure, internal development, and hands-on leadership.
The company has developed a license-based software solution used globally at scale. The product is distributed internationally in collaboration with more than 100 partners.
The organization consists of approximately 50 employees in Denmark and a smaller team in Asia. The culture is informal, characterized by high employee satisfaction and strong professional environments.
Responsibilities and Tasks
• Overall responsibility for operations, execution, and organizational performance
• Visible and present leadership of managers and employees
• Execute strategic initiatives and ensure progress across projects
• Ensure overview, structure, and correct prioritization in a dynamic daily environment
• Close collaboration with the board and reporting to the ownership group
• Support employee development and well-being
• Handle ad hoc tasks and act as a link between departments
Profile
• Experienced leader with strong operational experience and a strategic mindset
• Background as CEO, COO, or similar in a growth company - preferably within software/tech
• Thrives in a hands-on role and is used to taking responsibility for both people and processes
• Empathetic and unifying leader who creates clarity, calm, and direction
• Experience from a scale-up and an understanding of what it takes to professionalize an organization
