Interim Centre Manager

Interim Centre Manager

  • Application Deadline 2 March
  • Location Sealand
  • Period 6-9 months
  • Involvement Fulltime

Our client is looking for a strong and present Interim Centre Manager for their residential care facility — someone who can step clearly into the leadership role and create stability, direction, and a sense of security within the organisation.

The team consists of an engaged group of employees who have the will and motivation — but who currently lack clear frontline leadership, a shared direction, and a cohesive culture. Staff are asking for clarity around tasks and responsibilities, professional sparring, and a leader who is visible and present in their daily work. The team numbers approximately 10 people, a mix of permanent and hourly staff.

The Interim Manager will play a central role in re-establishing structure, strengthening the professional community, and building a culture characterised by security, clarity, and collaboration. The position reports to senior management and carries an important additional responsibility: to support and assist a manager returning from sick leave.

Responsibility:

  • Step clearly into the leadership role and take full ownership of the organisation
  • Exercise visible and present people management in daily operations
  • Create structure, clear frameworks, and well-defined priorities
  • Ensure clarity around roles, responsibilities, and expectations
  • Rebuild culture and strengthen the shared professional foundation
  • Establish regular structures for professional sparring and competency development
  • Implement already-defined strategic and organisational initiatives
  • Create security and stability during a period of change
  • Support and facilitate a smooth return for the manager on sick leave

Profile:

We are looking for an experienced interim leader with strong relational skills and solid leadership experience. Industry background is less critical — what matters most is the ability to create followership, direction, and culture.

You are clear, calm, and structured. You thrive in an organisation where close-to-the-ground leadership is needed, and where employees are motivated and ready to pull together.

You know how to combine operational decisiveness with strategic understanding — and can make a rapid impact through visible leadership and clear priorities.
