Interim Business Controller – Large International Service Group

Our client is a major international service group with more than 1,500 employees in Denmark and listed on a foreign stock exchange.
The Interim Business Controller will report to the Head of Business Controlling and join a team of four controllers. The role involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the organization, and the upcoming budget process will be a key focus area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monthly reporting to both the Danish operations and the parent company in Sweden
• Prepare budgets, forecasts (three times annually), estimates, and management reports
• Develop KPIs and performance reports, and provide analytical support to operations — including variance analysis, explanations, and follow-up on business cases
• Support the optimization of the business model and profitability, offering ongoing insights to department heads and support functions
• Prepare financial inputs for tenders and commercial proposals
