Interim Business Controller for International Group in the Experience Industry

For the Danish part of an international group’s finance team, we are looking for an experienced Business Controller responsible for the daily financial interaction with the company’s Danish divisions.

You will act as the driving force within the finance team on your own projects and areas of responsibility. You will collaborate closely with Danish colleagues, finance functions in sister companies abroad, and other international departments. Some limited travel activity may occur.

You will also help ensure efficient processes and compliance and have the opportunity to influence workflows and systems, as many are still relatively new.

Experience with international corporate structures is essential. The corporate language is English.

You will report partly to corporate finance abroad and partly to the Danish Senior Financial Controller.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Perform financial analyses

• Review, explain, and interpret balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow

• Interpret and apply basic IFRS principles and assess tax implications

• Act as backup/lead for payroll systems and processes

• Prepare annual reports and manage auditor communication

• Act as sparring partner for management

• Participate in various projects (new ERP, HR system, etc.)

• Optimize financial processes and workflows

• Handle ad hoc financial tasks
