Interim Business Area Manager – Service, Aftermarket and Maintenance

We are seeking, for our client, a Business Area Manager with responsibility for Service, aftermarket, and maintenance.
Our client, headquartered in Malmö, is a leading competence provider within electric power and automation solutions and delivers complete facilities as well as service and maintenance solutions to the infrastructure and industrial markets. The company delivers the entire value chain - from planning, design, and manufacturing to assembly and installation on site.
The customers are mainly located in the Swedish market. The company is experiencing rapid growth and expects a turnover of approximately SEK 350 million for the current year.
As Business Area Manager, you have the overall responsibility for developing and leading the client’s service operations. This includes shaping and implementing a business strategy that makes the client a market leader in service, support, and maintenance within its industry.
Responsibilities
• Business development: Develop the service portfolio, further develop partnerships, and establish the business area with clear goals and KPIs.
• Operational leadership: Lead and coach technicians and ensure quality and efficiency in delivery. Currently the team consists of 10 employees, including one supervisor.
• Customer and market responsibility: Develop and strengthen customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and develop customer-adapted solutions.
• Work environment: Overall responsibility for the area and particularly for safe delivery in customer assignments.
• Finance and results: Budget and profit responsibility, including follow-up on profitability.
The Business Area Manager is part of the company’s executive management team and reports to the CEO.
Requirements
As this is a strategic position with our client, to be considered for the assignment after the interim period - and if the assignment proves successful - you must be willing to take permanent employment with the client.
Furthermore, within the past five to ten years you must have successfully completed a similar journey with responsibility for a service and maintenance area within electric power distribution or industrial facilities.
Other qualifications
• Experience in strategic and operational business development within the area.
• Experience leading and developing service and maintenance teams in the field.
• Strong technical interest with the ability to understand complex technical solutions.
• Background within electric power, preferably as an electrical power engineer or technician.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
