Head of Accounting for a Growing Fintech Company

Our client is a new Danish commercial bank with strong ambitions and a transparent approach. The company offers innovative financial services and is currently on an exciting growth journey.

This is a Try & Hire assignment, where the right candidate can transition into a permanent position after the interim period.

The Interim Head of Accounting will play a key role in the company’s daily operations and future development — with significant opportunity to shape and optimize processes, particularly through increased digitalization of the accounting function. Efficiency, simplicity, and automation are core goals.

You will join a highly dedicated team of skilled and professional colleagues.

The accounting team currently includes a controller and student assistants.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of annual and half-year financial reports

• Mature and expand the current accounting structure

• Prepare internal and external reports

• Handle monthly reporting and declarations

• Perform reviews, checks, and accruals

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Drive digitalization and process improvements across workflows
