Our client, operating within the consulting industry, is in the midst of an exciting development phase where IT plays a central role. The Interim IT Project Manager will operate in a startup phase, handling selected tasks until a more permanent resource can be appointed as IT Manager.
General:
Our client is currently engaged in a strategically important and professionally challenging upgrade of the entire IT landscape. The company has outsourced the operation of its IT infrastructure to the group’s parent company, allowing full focus on IT support for core processes and the business.
The main tasks during the interim period will be:
• Further development of Service Level Agreements
• Establish improved governance
• Create an overview of license agreements
• Create an overview of service contracts
• Prepare a plan for cost reduction
The person will also act as a link between the business and suppliers, including Group IT, regarding the initiation and decision-making of IT-related projects.
Following the interim period, the new IT Manager will focus on the following areas of responsibility:
• Development of IT strategy and implementation of new application architecture
• Improvement of IT support for the company’s core processes
• Sparring and dialogue with the infrastructure provider
• Development and operation of superuser groups for business systems
The reference during the interim period will be to Group IT and partially to the CEO.
