Interim Sales Director for Technology Company

A Swedish technology company delivering products and services to the healthcare and elderly care sector across the Nordic region was acquired by a British competitor with its own sales company in Sweden. The acquisition brought together two organizations that had previously competed in the same market — each with its own structure, processes, and customer relationships.

To ensure a smooth transition and avoid disruption to ongoing business, Nextt & Mason provided an Interim Sales Director with long and proven experience in managing sales organizations through change and integration.

The assignment was to lead the unification of the two former competitors into one effective and cohesive sales team.During the process, focus was placed on aligning sales strategies, establishing common targets, and ensuring open and transparent communication between employees from both companies.

The Interim Sales Director worked closely with management and key account teams to retain customers, maintain motivation, and create clarity about future roles and responsibilities.Thanks to clear leadership, structure, and active follow-up, the integration progressed according to plan. The combined organization continued to deliver strong results throughout the transition period.

After 12 months, the assignment was successfully completed — with sales performance fully maintained and a stable, unified sales organization in place, ready to operate under the new ownership.
