The Situation

For our Nordic organization, we needed an HR Business Partner with in-depth knowledge of the Swedish and/or Finnish job market. A candidate with concrete experience who could professionally handle and develop our HR function across the Nordic region. Whether the candidate was Swedish or Finnish by origin was not important — but proven experience, strong HR competencies, and cultural understanding were absolutely essential.

The Process

We reached out to Nextt & Mason, as they were the right interim management partner to supply us with a candidate possessing both a Nordic scope and a track record of impressive results.

Within just a few days, Christian Hvashøj Schaarup presented us with three qualified candidates. All were excellent, so the final choice came down to minor details.

Our interim manager started in mid-December — initially for a four-month contract. As with previous collaborations with Nextt & Mason, it quickly became clear that the candidate was a perfect match. The contract was extended, and eventually, the interim manager was offered a permanent position in our Nordic HR organization.
