The Situation
Our founder and Managing Director was leaving the company in the beginning of 2025, and we needed to find a replacement for this position.
However, this was not the typical Managing Director position. The sole focus of this role was to handle all legal and compliance matters, acting as the legal representative of the company and our key point of contact with the Danish authorities.
As the European leading SaaS provider for resilience, we needed an experienced and proven candidate who could take over full responsibility, handle all legal and compliance matters independently as well as act in full accordance with Danish law.
The Process
Through internal contacts we reached out to Jon Sivert Nielsen from the Norwegian interim management company, Interimleder AS, who connected us to an experienced and professional partner in Denmark. In this way, we were introduced to Christian Hvashøj, owner of Nextt Management.
They responded quickly and efficiently. During our initial call, we outlined our requirements and the qualifications needed for this position. Shortly after, we were presented with three great candidates – all of them highly qualified and more than capable of handling the position.
After choosing one of the candidates, Nextt Management promptly drafted the contract, and within a very short time, everything was signed, sealed, and delivered.
All has been very pragmatic and hands on – including the onboarding. We experienced no loss of momentum, no time wasted. Focus has been 100% on the task at hand, the role, and moving forward.
The Solution
From day one, our interim manager demonstrated deep knowledge and deep expertise in all business, legal, and compliance related matters, handling every aspect with professionalism and in full accordance with Danish legislation and regulatory requirements. As primary point of contact for the Danish authorities in all regulatory matters, he also ensures that communication and processes are handled promptly and effectively.
The candidate also supports us in negotiations with authorities on other topics, and we continue to draw on his knowledge whenever beneficial.

Our interim Managing Director quickly grasped the assignment and acted decisively. He is proactive, checks in regularly with us and the colleagues on the ground to ensure we are getting maximum value from the collaboration, and maintains an impressive balance between professionalism and empathy. His ability to blend in seamlessly with our organization has made this a natural and highly effective setup.
All our expectations are exceeded. There is no gap between what we were promised and what we receive — quite the opposite. Looking at the initial action points we agreed upon, every objective is being met and, in most cases, surpassed.
The Future
The co-operation with our interim MD and Nextt Management has been such a success and fits our needs perfectly that we have decided to extend the agreement into 2026.
Engaging an interim MD for this position has been an excellent business case. It has proven both efficient and cost-effective – the output received exceeds our investment.
While we continue to assess our long-term structure for managing our legal and compliance matters, we know that all aspects are handled with the highest level of professionalism. Working with an interim professional enables us to proceed with ‘business as usual’.
