6 out of 10 companies have used an interim leader in the past three years

One of the key conclusions from the first Danish study of the interim market in Denmark is that six out of ten companies have used an interim leader within the past three years.

This shows that companies have embraced interim leadership and are increasingly thinking of it as a strategic staffing solution. Perhaps because interim leaders are particularly effective in the fragmented and complex landscape that companies must navigate today.

Digitalisation, the use of AI, sustainability and the green transition, strategy, and transformation are among the current challenges many companies must address if they are not to fall behind their competitors.

There are numerous agendas and challenges within organisations, and almost every day we see companies struggling to have all the necessary resources in place to handle every task. This is especially true as new demands and new technologies continuously emerge.

This is the first time we have concrete figures and data on the scope of interim leadership in Denmark. And the numbers confirm that interim leadership is a resource more and more companies are using—and using repeatedly.
