Interim Project Manager - Investment & Development Projects

Our client is a global industrial group providing cable and energy solutions for the energy systems of the future. Its Karlskrona site has investments underway that cannot wait. We are now looking for an experienced Interim Project Manager who can step in immediately, take ownership and deliver results from day one.

The assignment

You will lead investment and development projects within the production organisation, with a focus on production equipment, machinery and technical facilities. You will own each project end to end, from feasibility study through commissioning, handover and closure, with full responsibility for budget, schedule, resources and risk.

In practice, you will

• define objectives, scope and acceptance criteria together with project sponsors and stakeholders

• manage costs, forecasts and decision gates in line with the client´s project model, and act early on deviations

• lead cross-functional teams and coordinate production, maintenance, HSE, procurement, suppliers and contractors

• make sure health, safety, environmental, machine safety and regulatory requirements are built into every phase

• prepare decision material and report to steering committees and management

• plan installation, testing, commissioning and training, and hand over each project with nothing left open

About you

You have independently led investment projects in an industrial production environment and know what it takes to deliver on time and within budget. You are structured and self driven, and you are confident bringing many functions together around a shared goal.

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Industrial Management or Production, or equivalent experience

• Solid experience of projects involving production equipment, machinery or technical installations

• Good command of Microsoft 365. Experience with Microsoft Project and/or SAP is an advantage

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Knowledge of CE marking and the Machinery Directive is a merit
